From Friday till Saturday (11-12/12/2020), 32 participants consist of students and church youth attended a workshop with facilitators from youth activists, community activists, community leaders, church administrators, and government officials with their background and expertise. They are Rev. Sugianto, S.Th, Japung Lazarus S.E, Dharma Setyawan, and Rev. Wahyu Kristiono, S.Th.
In
this two days workshop, the participants learned various knowledge from the
facilitators. The materials cover:
2) Understand the role of youth in development,
3) Recognizing the challenges of development,
4) How young people can contribute to development in Lampung.
As a series of closing activities for the Multiplication of Stube HEMAT in Lampung and the Advent time, the activists of the Multiplication of Stube HEMAT in Lampung held worship at the beach of Kerang Mas, East Lampung (14/12/2021) in order to get closer to nature. Forty-seven participants consist of students and church youth attended this activity. Rev. Lukas Yamidi, S.Th. M.Pd.K. facilitated the reflection and worship session.
In this activity, they got confirmation of their calling as the young generation to stay optimistic to follow the development process in their regions because of God’s guidance inside them. They also played games that trained them to have cooperative works and teamwork.
It is very encouraging that the series of the multiplication of Stube HEMAT in Lampung in the period of 6 months showed the dynamics that occured among activists to understand the local values of Piil Pasenggiri through discussion, training, workshop, and seminar they participated in. They are able to express more their hopes to develop their potencies to be good individuals by contributing to regional development. In addition, this program bridges activists to be able to build networks with source persons, related institutions or organizations, churches, Pondok Diakonia as their shelter, and with others. The activists of the Multiplication of Stube HEMAT in Lampung were also trained to manage activities, as well as to develop their potency in capacity building. ***
